The white paper 'Pensions in Europe' looks at what multinational companies see as the major issues facing them today with their pensions in Europe, examines what the companies are doing now and what they intend to do in the future.
By revealing the hopes, aims, concerns and experiences of multinational companies, international pension consultants, representatives of the European Commission and national supervisory bodies, we wished to come to a better understanding of the current state of company pensions in Europe and to see how the many parties involved view the present state and the future of European pensions.
In addition, the paper examines what the European Commission is doing to help multinational companies, and concludes with five short guidelines on how to assess possible ways to take advantage of cross-border opportunities in Europe.
