A tailor-made solution
In 2006, AEGON Global Pensions was asked by the CFO of a large European multinational to create a plan to buy out the pension liabilities of approximately one hundred executives in the United States. AEGON Global Pensions referred the CFO to AEGON's US subsidiary Transamerica Retirement Services, who provided the appropriate solution.
Step by step
Following the successful implementation of this plan, AEGON Global Pensions was asked to help the company create a similar solution for its executives in Canada, and later also for the rest of the company’s US-based employees. AEGON Global Pensions is now working to develop solutions for the company’s employees in other parts of the world.
