On 21 April 2010, the Financial Adviser Life and Pensions awards took place in London. These awards recognise product provider excellence and are voted for by the readers of Financial Adviser, one of the UKs leading trade publications.  

There were three different award categories for pensions: best individual pension provider, best group pension provider and best overall pension provider. AEGON won all three categories.  

In addition to winning the three pension awards, AEGON was also highly commended in the category of Income Drawdown and commended in the categories of Life Assurance, Term Assurance and Protection.
