Following the early high profile introduction of asset pooling by several large multinational corporations, asset pooling has received less attention. As asset pooling comes of age, it is time to look again at how companies can exploit the benefits it offers.

Pension provision in the UK is about to undergo a fundamental change. New reforms are being introduced from 2012 that will hopefully result in more people saving more money for their retirement.

The Swiss pension system is one of the best in the world. However, the Swiss pension system is - as in most countries with an ageing population - not sustainable and further pension reforms seem inevitable.

The financial and economic crisis has made CEOs and CFOs aware of a major issue concerning pensions – that pension funds may lead to a significant cash flow risk.
