Impact of ageing on corporate and expat pensions

The world's population is ageing. In most countries, there are 4 people of working age for every pensioner currently. Ageing is expected to accelerate and in 2050, there will be just two people of working age for every person of pensionable age. Ageing puts pressure on government finances, but also on the companies that have to pay out pensions for a longer time and on the labour force that has to support the rising number of pensioners. In some regions, we are now facing a "war for talent".

In this session, Ruediger Blaich (AEGON Global Pensions) discusses demographic trends and the impact on pensions in general and expat pensions in particular.
